AB Rent is a hosted booking platform for businesses that rent out equipment. Your customers pick dates and quantities on your site, pay online, and receive their confirmation and invoice by email. You manage stock, prices and bookings from one place.
Currently used for silent disco equipment rental. Built to run more than one rental business from a single platform.
What it is
A hosted checkout
Customer details, order review and payment happen on a secure checkout page under your own name. Payment runs through Mollie with the methods your customers expect, such as iDEAL and cards.
Invoices and email, automatically
Every paid booking gets a confirmation, a payment receipt and a numbered invoice as PDF, sent in the customer's language. Invoice numbering is gapless and per legal entity.
Stock that is never double-booked
Availability is checked per day over the whole rental period, including transit and handling days. A booking only takes stock once the payment is confirmed.
How it works
- Choose. The customer selects the rental period and the items on your website. The widget shows what is available and what it costs, including VAT and any shipping fee.
- Check out. The customer enters their details on the hosted checkout, chooses pickup or shipping, and reviews the order.
- Pay. Payment is handled by Mollie. The booking is confirmed the moment the payment is confirmed.
- Receive. Confirmation, receipt and invoice arrive by email, with a personal link to view the booking and download the invoice.
Who it is for
Rental businesses with counted stock and whole-day rental periods: audio and event equipment, party supplies, tools, and similar. Multiple shops can share one stock pool under one legal entity, and products can be sold as bundles, for example ten headsets and one transmitter as a single set.
AB Rent is operated by its owner for its own rental brands. Access for third-party rental businesses is planned; if you are interested, get in touch.

Bookings and payments are processed per rental brand. The invoice for a booking is issued by the legal entity named on the checkout page and on the invoice itself.
